Terms and Conditions for In-Store Purchases
Welcome to Arcade. We are pleased to have you as a valued customer. The following Terms and Conditions govern all transactions and interactions within our physical retail store. By entering our store and making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these policies. Please read the terms carefully.
1. General Store Policies
- Operating Hours: Our store operates during the following hours: Monday - Sunday 11 am - 9 pm.
Please note that these hours may be subject to change, particularly on holidays or during special events. Kindly refer to our Instagram account or inquire in-store for any updates.
- Conduct within the Store: We request that all customers maintain respectful and courteous behavior towards staff and fellow shoppers. Any disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate conduct may result in the individual being asked to leave the premises at the discretion of store management.
2. Products and Availability
- Product Representation: While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of product descriptions, images, and pricing, there may be slight variations in the actual product as compared to its representation in-store or on promotional material.
- Stock Availability: Product availability may vary. While we strive to maintain adequate stock levels, we cannot guarantee the availability of all items at all times. Please consult with a staff member for information regarding stock status, or for assistance in ordering items if necessary.
- Sizing and Fit: Customers are encouraged to try on clothing prior to purchase to ensure the proper fit. Staff members are available to assist with locating the correct size or recommending suitable alternatives.
3. Purchases and Payments
- Payment Methods Accepted: We accept the following payment methods: Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Mobile Payments, Gift Cards, Store Credits. All transactions must be completed in full at the time of purchase.
- Pricing and Taxes: All listed prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.
- Currency: Prices are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
4. Returns and Exchanges
- Return Eligibility: We are happy to offer exchanges for products returned in new, unused condition with original tags attached. Exchanges must be made within 10 days of purchase. Certain items, including but not limited to [e.g., intimate apparel, swimwear, sale items], are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Exchange Process: Products may be exchanged for another item of equal value, subject to availability. To facilitate an exchange, the original receipt or proof of purchase must be presented.
- Non-Returnable Items: The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Gift cards
- Sale or clearance merchandise
- Worn or damaged items (except for defective products)
- Perishable goods, where applicable
5. Damaged or Defective Merchandise
- Inspection of Merchandise: We advise customers to inspect products before purchase to ensure satisfaction with their condition. If a product purchased in-store is found to be defective or damaged, please notify a store associate immediately.
- Defective Products: In the event that a product is defective, we will offer an exchange, store credit, or refund, at the discretion of the customer. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase for all returns or exchanges related to defective items.
6. Gift Cards
- Purchasing Gift Cards: Gift cards are available for purchase online and can be used as a payment method for any products sold in our retail location. Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash.
- Gift Card Terms: Gift cards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged. Customers may inquire about the remaining balance on their gift card in-store or through our customer service.
7. Security and Privacy
- Surveillance: For the safety and security of our customers and staff, the store is monitored by security cameras. We reserve the right to refuse service or request that individuals leave the premises if their actions are deemed disruptive or suspicious.
- Personal Information: We may collect personal information during the transaction process, such as contact details for transaction verification or communication purposes. This information will not be sold or shared with third parties without your consent, and will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
8. Customer Etiquette
- Personal Items: We recommend that customers keep their personal belongings with them at all times. Arcade is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property within the store premises.
- Fitting Rooms: Fitting rooms are available for customer use during store hours. We kindly request that you respect store property and limit your time in the fitting room to ensure other customers have the opportunity to use the space. Assistance from staff is available upon request.
9. Health and Safety
- Store Environment: We are committed to providing a safe and clean environment for our customers. Please adhere to any health and safety guidelines displayed in-store, including but not limited to mask-wearing, hand sanitization, and social distancing measures, where applicable.
- COVID-19 or Other Health Protocols (if applicable): In response to health and safety concerns, additional store policies may be in effect, such as limits on the number of customers in-store at any given time. Customers are expected to comply with these measures for the safety of themselves and others.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcade shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products. Our liability shall be limited solely to the purchase price of the specific item in question.
11. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted in-store and on our website. Continued use of our services or purchases from our store constitutes acceptance of any such modifications.
